geoPaste ADC2 Trial Version application Terms and Conditions, Content Policy

geoPaste ADC2 Trial Version application is provided on a time limited basis only and will expire and cease to function after the conclusion of the Google ADC2 contest.
Google may also remove this version of the geoPaste application from your android device ( this is beyond our control ). Refer http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/browse_thread/thread/2b0f224a326daf04?hl=en
Any geoPaste drawings you publish using the geoPaste ADC2 Trial Version application will also be removed from the geoPaste Cloud Services after the Google ADC2 contest has concluded.
There wil be no facility provided for you to retrieve your published drawing from the geoPaste Cloud Services.
However, your geoPaste drawings, images and audio are stored on the device SDCARD and will still be available to you after the Google ADC2 contest has concluded.
You are encouraged to make backup copies of these files for your own retention purposes.
After the conclusion of the ADC2 contest, other versions of geoPaste may be released to the general public.

Whilst this geoPaste ADC2 Trial Version application does not provide a formal end user license agreement, it must still be used in a manner which also conforms with the terms and conditions of the Google ADC2 contest.

In particular, geoPaste ADC2 Trial Version application users must also and in turn, NOT publish drawings and content which contains or links to -

* illegal content.
* gambling application or sites.
* invasions of personal privacy or violations of the right of publicity.
* content that interferes with the functioning of any services of other parties.
* promotions of hate or incitement of violence.
* violations of intellectual property rights, including patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party.
* any material not suitable for persons under 13, including graphic depictions of violence or age-inappropriate language.
* pornography, obscenity, nudity or sexual activity.


The geoPaste Cloud Services employ the Google App Engine™ platform to store published geoPaste drawings and as such geoPaste users may only publish geoPaste drawing that comply with terms and conditions of that platform. In particular, geoPaste ADC2 Trial Version application users are obligated to comply with the terms and conditions related to publication of Prohibited Content -

The Content displayed and/or processed through your Application or other web site utilizing the Service shall not contain any of the following types of content:

Content that infringes a third party's rights (e.g., copyright) according to applicable law;
Pornographic, obscene or excessively profane content;
Hate-related or violent content;
Content advocating racial or ethnic intolerance;
Content intended to advocate or advance computer hacking or cracking;
Gambling;
Other illegal activity, including without limitation illegal export of controlled substances or illegal software;
Drug paraphernalia;
Phishing;
Malicious content;
Pages comprised primarily of advertising;
Other material, products or services that violate or encourage conduct that would violate any criminal laws, any other applicable laws, or any third-party rights.


geoPaste users are encouraged to Report published geoPaste drawings that do not satisfy these terms and conditions.

Repeated infringement may result in the perpetrating devices being prevented from publishing futher geoPaste drawings and user content.
